Our cute little candy corn nametags we did for the month of October!
They were really simple to make! Here’s how:
We went to Home Depot and got a ton of orange paint chips (varying in shades). We made a basic candy corn pattern and cut it out, tracing that on all the other paint chips.
For the eyes, we used my RA partner’s cricket and made circles, and then by hand colored the eyeballs in with black marker.
As for the ribbons, we made one and then traced them all before cutting them out. I know I only put one example up, but we actually had four different color ribbons that we circled through.
For the mouths, we cut out black circle’s with the cricket and cut them in half, putting a slight curve on the straight part.
And finally, for the names, we went online and found a cool Halloween font and printed everyone’s names on that! Don’t think that you have to always write out each name by hand - printing can look cool every once in a while as well!
What we could’ve done better: My RA partner and I love these nametags, but they are a bit simple. It would’ve been nice if we had the time to add some more detail to them. Otherwise, they’re perfect. :)
